WOD: (HQ)
Ten rounds for time of:
3 Weighted Pull-ups, 45 pounds
5 Strict Pull-ups
7 Kipping Pull-up
For weighted pull-ups place a 45 pound dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set.
Post time and number of sets to completion.
We'll use a 45# bumper plate with a PVC dowel through it supported by ankles.

I avoided this one the first time it came around. I should have read some of the posts before attempting. Anyway the noon session & myself tried this one. I got to 6 rounds unbroken with lots of rest between & ended it at 7 rounds. Also Kyle's mid WOD challenge to prove to him that " you can always do one muscle-up, no matter what you just did" didn't help. between rounds 4&5 I did 3 consecutive MUs for Kyle.
Anyway as Rx'd 7 rounds,
time: forever
Now that I understand the WO, next time will be much better.
