Main Site:
"CrossFit Total"
Back squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep
You should have a good idea of what your 1 rep. max is for each before attempting.
Record your 1 rep max for each in the comments, the total combined weight is your CFT.
CrossFit York:
"Love & Hate"
Max rounds in 20 minutes of :
Exercise #1 : your most favorite exercise
Exercise #2: your most hated exercise
you also choose weight, reps, distance, etc. for each exercise per round
I don't know if this has been done yet, so this will be an interesting one as it will say a lot about you. There is an element of skill and experience level per individual, but "we" will be able to tell if anyone is "sandbagging".
Post your workout and results in the comments, also share your thoughts on each others' workouts/results:

first to post, yeah i'm a geek!! love/hate workout. interesting concept, great workout. through the workout the relationship did not change. my hate stayed and same with the love. fooled all that know me and chose differently. it was still hate/love but a little strategy as well. as rx'd love/hate max rounds in 20 minutes
OHS(9)
Push-up(11)
Rounds Completed 9 + 4 OHS
Side note, met a new crossfitter today, he went to the same cert as Rusty. I think his name is Ty, I think. Very cool guy. Glad I had the chance to meet him. Rest, rest, rest!
I went with the following:
muscle up x 10
0.2 mile run
Finished 4 rounds in 21:28
I picked the MU because it is some what of a CrossFit "right of passage" and I'm psyched that I can do them consistantly now. It isn't my best exercise but is my favorite. Running I abolutely hate, as everyone who knows me knows. So I actually push pretty hard to get any sort of run done. As the MUs got hard, the run was a nice "rest". It was interesting to hear how we decided on what to do. I was for sure that "runrun" would choose running for his "love" since that is his UN...go figure. I think Tai picked a "hate" exercise which he needs work. I thought it was funny that I got butterflies about running even though I chose to do that. If I were to pick an exercise that I stink at it would be hang clean or OHS, but I just need to work on these I do not "hate" them.
Runrun surprised me - thought for sure he'd blaze around the parking lot 45 times or something....
Did the "love" - chest press 85# and the HATE - BURPEES!!
5 rounds 13:45
i love to keep you guys guessing. i should have run just to keep rusty moving even faster. that way his four rounds would have been under 20. actually not scared of burpees any longer. i can rock them better than they can rock me. critiquing is not my thing to do, so i'm just glad everyone made a workout that was doable but still hard. good effort there.
I did my own variation of the Love/Hate WOD idea - I call it the "I did a bunch of ring dips because I can't do a friggin' muscle up yet" WOD.
My chosen workout:
Ring dips x 10
135 lb. back squat x 10
9 rounds completed
If Rusty brags one more time about how easy a MU is now that he can do them, I'm going to surgically remove his head with one of my new kettlebells.
Had a great time up at CrossFit York today...thanks!
