I really want to go with the WOD as per the CF games, 5 rounds of deadlifts and burpees, but I also want to play with the "chest to bar pullups" so I think dropping the rounds is a good compromise plus it's 10 less total reps.

As far as running, we should all have a course layed out around our home (or work) which is approx. 1/4 mi. so that in a pinch we can still get a W/O.

I prefer a neighborhood course over anything else b/c I like a change of scene when I run, since I love running so much.

this was definitely difficult. as far as chest-to-the-bar pull-ups, good luck to all who attempt. first round i got 4 and went with chin up and over. i was bested again today, hate it. it drives me.

as far as running surface goes, i live in town and have great access to a regulation track. personal preference would be anything that is challenging. whether that is road, track, or trail.

As far as the chest to bar pullups. I think the key is a strong kip (I know real easy to say) so that you are almost pulling yourself horizontally to the bar rather than vertically almost like how you pull through the rings when doing a muscle up. I need to work on these....hhhmm maybe muscle ups are on the horizon.

Tough...but my stamina and strength are definitely better than 5 or 6 weeks ago. Amazing.

If I had a choice I would def pick a nice forested trail there is nothing like mother nature...

today I did a modified work out started off with Angie but had some guy bothering me at the pullups so I switched to crossfit york WOD after 30 pullups. I did
10x 185 deadlift
10x bupees
three times then finished off with 20x pullups
in 10:15 not counting first 30 pullups...
